No Doppler effect affects frequency and wavelength--the speed

ahahaha... Samantha, this is just *your* interpretation and that of
those whose asses you kiss day in and day out on usenet. And you do it
for free. ahahaha... You may not realize this but not everybody is an
ass kisser like you and not everybody feels the need to believe in
your crap just because you belive in it. ahahaha...

The fact is that, if the speed of light was really constant in all
inertial frames, frequencies and wavelengths would also be constant.
The fact that they are not is an indication that something in the
light changed its speed relative to the observer. Since light is made
of photons exclusively, it is logical to assume that the photons
changed their relative speeds.

IOW, Samantha, you are not just an ass kisser. You're stupid as ****.
ahahaha... AHAHAHA... ahahaha...

Wavelength is absolute and constant in all frames.
Frequency varies as (c+v)/v.

It's all a matter of definition.....

For a monochromatic ray, the distance between 'wavecrests' in the source frame
is the distance a photon moves in one period of its intrinsic oscillation, or:
lambda = cT, where T is the period in the source frame.
To an observer moving towards the source at v, T decreases to Tc/(c+v) and the
incident speed of the light is c+v.

According to that observer, wavelength is (c+v).Tc/(c+v), which is again just
cT.

Hahahahhahhahahhahahhihohohohohhhhawhawhawhaw!!!

Gotcha, Louis!!!!! !

Speaking of definition...
http://scienceworld.wolfram.com/phys...edofLight.html

The Speed of light is a defined constant. :-)

'c' is a universal constant.
It has dimensions of speed.
It also happens to be the speed of EM relative to its source in vacuo.
'WHY?' is a good question, although Maxwell's equation explains it for a
medium..

Wormy, the doppler equation for sound doesn't apply to light. The 'vs' term
disappears because there is no aether.
As for the 'relativistic equation', it is untested nonsense like the rest of
that theory. For all practical situations the relativistic equation gives
almost the same answer as the BaTh one, anyway.

Yes it does,

c - v
f' = f ----------
c

for sound from a passing railway station as heard from the train.

c
f' = f ------------
c-u
for sound of a passing train as heard from the station.

c-v
f' = f ------------
c-u

for sound of a train as heard from a car following alongside
the train on PA route 65 between Pittsburgh and Beaver, I've
heard it myself.

Doppler knew, you are an arsehole.

It is demonstrable by experiment (in the microwave region of the spectrum)
that wavelength varies with Doppler shift.
It is demonstrable by experiment (in the microwave region of the spectrum
that frequency varies with Doppler shift.
It is demonstrable by experiment (in the microwave region of the spectrum
that when frequency is multiplied by wavelength, one get the velocity:

v = lambda x frequency

It so happens that v = c, every time.

v has alway been measured as c, from the , regardless of the velocity of the
source

It has NEVER been demonstrated by ANY experiment in any region of the electro
magnetic spectrum that the velocity of the source has any influence on the
velocity of the emission.

Mel Brooks took certain liberties with the German language re
"Schwanzstucker,"

http://a.in.urbandict.net/define.php?term=Schwanzstucker

More correctly it might be "Schwanztücker,"

http://a.in.urbandict.net/define.php...chwanzt%FCcker

Cf.: Schwanzlutscher

Now Androclitty will get all hot and bothered. Even now I suspect
he's got an arm draped over a chair back to compress the nerve,
rendering the associated hand numb so self-abuse will be credibly
deniable as instead having been performed by a stranger.
