But that doesn't mean in any way that any part of the object is moving faster than light. And there is no truth in what you say. If light goes from A to B in a straight line in an inertial frame then nothing is able to get there is less that time,, not even a grain of metal. I see you claim that a grain of metal would do it in half that time but there is no basis for such a claim and all observations made to date contradict that any such speed would be obtained by normal matter. If tachyons existed they it would be possible for a tachyon. But I don't believe that tachon's exist. The person who came up with that idea was basing his assumptions on weak grounds.
