Default speed of light to energy conversion

a man came out once saying that energy is mass
times speed of light, and nobody bulived him

than came another man saying tha energy is mass
times speed of light squared, and nobody bulived him,
mostly becus there is no any connection between
mass and speed of light

mass yes, it has a lot ta do with energy, but a speed!?
why not a position, or an acceleration, entropy, volume, etc

now everybody bulives him, but they are still wrong, becus energy
is not mass time speed of light squared, but cubed, becus we
are living in a 3d world not on a surface
