While I don't support Retic's method, I can see why
he might have felt provoked to adopt it.

Lets see what that is in entirety:
- antisemitic comments
- defamation of anyone that complains
- outright lies
- straight spam by any current definition (other than Ernest
Wittke's)
- misrepresentation of even the most simple facts
- nym-shifting so that everyone must see the same message every
30 days or so

Which of those behaviors do you find acceptable because Ernest's
tiny little feelings got hurt umpteen years ago?

David A. Smith

Well, I guess, here, we must be close to the kernel
of the matter. If everyone knew that there was really no
such thing as anyone's 'tiny little' feelings, we would have
no crime, no Middle East disaster, 9/11, global terrorism,
Iraq war, or any of the other similar catastrophes.

As it is, however, we have a world populated by competitive
tough guys, possibly supported by their female equivalents,
for whom people's feelings are too 'tiny', and contemptible, and
weak, to warrant calculation. Thus, instead, they have to
calculate, and deal with, the physical human actions connected
with such 'tiny' human feelings - and on a truly massive scale,
as we can see!

While I usually disagree with Mr Retic's views on relativity I find
his postings an interesting source of ideas - disagreeing can
sometimes generate new insights. His posting are polite, extensive &
reflect considerable knowledge on the subject. This group would
benefit from more postings by others that reflect the effort expended
by this poster rather than the juvenile flamings that certain
obsessives seem to enjoy. It is a pity that he has to resort to a
pseudonym - but it is more of a pity that others do not respond to him
intelligently rather than simply dismiss his ideas as spam.

The main problem is that when someone objects to his claims he says nothing.
He's not here to discuss the physics but publish them here.

Been there and done that. A long time ago I responded to his posts and got
pure silence from him when I disagreed with him. Where's the scientific
method in that?

Actually no. Science is a study of Nature. Nature doesn't care
for feelings, only for providing the framework that supports
*all* life. She thinks nothing of breaking your leg, killing
you, or handing you a pan of gold dust.

Every thing you cite is Man on Man. Since "Middle East disaster"
is less than specific:

- 9/11; people were convinced that capitalism can be stopped via
murder, entropy can be halted by destroying the atoms involved.
I don't see mention of feelings on either side here.

- global terrorism; same song second verse.

- Iraq war; the oil producing sheiks needed someone to distract
Iran and the USA needed to boost its birth rate (because it is
too efficient at keeping the wounded alive to try and reduce the
number of males of a certain age). I don't see mention of
feelings on either side here either.

Now consider the global response (as inadequate as it may turn
out to be) to the earthquakes in Nepal, the tsunami relief, and
AIDS in Africa. Were tiny little feelings involved here?

And what did this have to do with Ernest Wittke? He was behaving
this way before 9/11 occurred.

As it is, however, we have a world populated by
competitive tough guys, possibly supported by their
female equivalents, for whom people's feelings are
too 'tiny', and contemptible, and weak, to warrant
calculation.

Hardly. Every one of those people have feelings too. Each life
is to be lived. Actions are only part of the lesson, and not a
very important part of it. Motivation is key.

Thus, instead, they have to calculate, and deal with,
the physical human actions connected with such
'tiny' human feelings - and on a truly massive scale,
as we can see!

No. It starts with the action of a single individual. "The
Butterfly Effect". "Pay It Forward".

If you want to change the world, join the Peace Corps. Energize
the people around you with new ideas, new ways of looking at the
world.

But feelings are going to be hurt. It is part of the Drama.

Well, if the effect of Retic's posts is merely 'part of the
Drama', then why the fuss? Or is that, itself, also merely
part of the Drama, along with everything else?

You are a bright "kid". Ernest Wittke extrudes a pre-formed
turd, someone complains, someone else says why shouldn't Ernest
be able to do that, and on and on.

Ernest isn't improving things, he is only making his profit. He
is like any strip miner anywhere, except he does not even plant a
few trees after he is done.

HAHAHA! Try private email - the dickhead is a crackpot aetherialist, the
spamming ******* is a ranting lunatic who refuses, like so many relativists,
to reason with anyone. Agree with the tord and he'll be happy - disagree
and he turns into an arsehole.
