However, the error can be exposed with less than 100 lines of plain
english text, as shown above. What distinguishes me from all the
parrots on this forum (the majority) that "believe" in S.R.? I have the
courage to use my common sense and to draw conclusions.

You have been misled, Tom.

A Ph.D in computer science does not grant you a Ph. D in physics, no
matter how loudly you scream.

Thanks for the info ;-) And who is "Sorcerer"? The presence of these

Tom Roberts,

No, it is standard information theory.

So you don't know standard information theory.

One photon can carry in principle an unlimited number
of "bits" (as unit of information).

This is simply not true. IN PRINCIPLE you cannot avoid the Heisenberg
Uncertainty Principle, and it will ALWAYS limit what information can be
transferred by a single photon. Moreover, your whole notion of "one
photon" is a misnomer -- photons are quantum objects and do not behave
the way you seem to think they do. In general, the number of photons
present in a system is NOT a good quantum number.

The Heissenberg Principle does not limit the amount of information that
can be carried by one photon. Information depends on interpretation. A
photon can carry a variety of conditions such as time of arrival and
energy, that can be interpreted as information content. It is possible
to detect the arrival of a single photon, determine its energy
(frequency) and time of arrival. This means that what you are saying is
plain nonsense.

The Heissenberg Principle implies bounds on the precision with which
position and speed can be determined SIMULTANEOUSLY. Within these
bounds there is enough room to carry in principle unlimited
information.

If you are able to distinguish
between 2 power N different energy levels [...] So the
weight of information is... nil.

Obviously you have never done this, have never studied information
theory, and have never studied quantum mechanics. Go do so before making
statements about subjects you CLEARLY know nothing about. If you
actually do have a Ph.D. this should pose no obstacle for you.

From your words is clear that you didn't study information theory

either, or you did not understood even the basic principles of it.

Then apply your knowledge of the difference to the ACTUAL EXPERIMENTS.
All they show is CORRELATION. In particular, they display no evidence of
causation, and no evidence of information transfer (other than transfer
with the photons with speed = c).

You have obviously no knowledge of recent experiments that show
unequivocally that your ideas are obsolete.

The generally accepted interpretation of
Feynman is that a photon evaluates INFINITELY FAST all possible paths,
assigns a probability to each path, and then choses at random a path,
respecting the assigned probability function.

No. You need to go back and re-read Feynman's book _QED_. You have this
seriously garbled, so much so that what you say is just plain wrong.

I doubt you did read QED yourself, if you show gross misunderstanding.

Regards, Jan.

Dork Van de Dummy is so sure that Sue is Dennis that
he made a $1000 wager with Dennis over the issue.

That does not tell you whether Sue is Dennis, but if know anything
at all about mathmatics, It tells you what is between Dork's ears.

Unlike average village idiots that hope their gaffes are soon
forgotten.
Dork de Dummy posts regular reminders of his. ROFL

You'll get to know John Parker aka Androcles aka Sorcerer
(aka enzovoort...) and his weekly bursts of troll tactics soon
enough.
He's what makes this newsgroup really worthwile for those
who are interested in the psychology of the truly sick mind of
the retired engineer who spent a life time failing to understand
the basics of Galilean and special relativity.
This group was created to draw as many 'anti-relativity'
crackpots out of the regular physics group as possible.
You've met a few key players already.
If you don't like the noise, you better go to a moderated
newsgroup like sci.physics.research.

You are screaming louder than I do, and your screeming is empty. I see
no arguments pertaining to the subject of the thread.

At least on sci.physics.research most of the mathmatical games
are clearly labeled as such. Usually written the only author that
Dork de Dummy can use as a reference for his nonsense.

H.G Wells and Bellhop paradox's are great fun,
but don't mistake them for physics.

"Sorcerer" is he who agrees with your point of view but has gone
much further than you.
Dork Van de merde is he who cannot answer a question without lying.

Given:
The second is the duration of 9 192 631 770 periods of the radiation
corresponding to the transition between the two hyperfine levels of the
ground state of the cesium 133 atom. -- NIST, Dork Van de Psycho.

A year is 9,192,631,770 * 60 * 60 * 24 * 365.2425 periods of the
radiation corresponding to the transition between the two hyperfine levels
of the ground state of the cesium 133 atom. -- Wackypedia

"So if T = 5 years and v = 0.8c, then the stay at home twin will
have aged 10 years while his travelling twin sister will have aged
6 years." -- Dork Van de Psycho.
(5 years is 10 years or 6 years, I'm not sure which).

"Time is what a clock says" Dork Van de ****head.

Now for the stupid question.
What happened to the missing 1,160,365,758,078,260,000 periods of
the radiation corresponding to the transition between the two hyperfine
levels of the ground state of the cesium 133 atom's prodigal twin sister?
