The so called "a field of physics" which is (the forbidden field)
quantum mechanics, deals with "things" that prop out of empty space only to disappear to it again such as the idea of virtual particles (or the exchange of it) is pure crap. Nothing comes into being out of nowhere nor do things disappear into nothing. Such ideas ought to be (and are) plainly and simply ridiculous. |

Well, you've just fallen victim to the usual "physics by pop-sci books" problem. To understand why this is reasonable (just that, reasonable) you must study *it*, not the pop-sci *metaphors*.
