These energy conditions are simply physically wrong constraints imposed
ad hoc. They are not real. Dark energy violates them. The energy conditions are myths like the myth we could not break the sound barrier. Stargates violate the WEC and ET uses that to get here. There is no WEC in real metric engineering IMHO. On Sep 26, 2005, at 6:56 PM, art wagner wrote: In a recent paper (8 days ago), Peter K. F. CYLINDRICALLY SYMMETRIC WORMHOLES (http://xxx.lanl.gov/PS_cache/gr-qc/pdf/0507/0507008.pdf) The WEC is TuvV^uV^v = 0 V^u is time-like This requires a positive local energy density for any timelike observer. This need not be so for zero point energy that absolutely bends space-time. Of more importance is the SEC (Strong Energy Condition) that says 1 + 3w =0 This is violated for zero point energy where w = -1 See Super Cosmos http://amazon.com http://stardrive.org |
