But I note you don't say *specifically* what you consider to be double

That is most likely the case because you're completely ignorant of
the physics involved ... so I take no offense.

So you agree with me that all the mass and energy in the universe already
existed before the mythical 'big bang' occurred.

PS: Because according to your posting the 'big bang' merely gathered up and
rearranged the mass and energy which was already there.

Which leaves the question how did the big bang know how to gather up all the
mass and energy in the universe and transform them into an expanding
universe of stars and planets etc.?

Besides, old stars continue to die off and new stars continue to be born as
time goes on, without the help of any further big bangs.
