That is the unversally established (at least for any respectable
working physicist, and for any respectable "alternative"
free-energy/Tesla junkie dissident physicist this side of Richard
Hoaxland) definition of acceleration.

You're the one claiming otherwise, so it would seem that the burden of
proof is on YOU to justify your own conception of acceleration.
