Hi all...

I am building a new Quantum Theory website for discussions, news..etc
for people of all education and skill levels and I need ideas on how
people would like to see the website evolve.

Basically right now I am adding theories in several different ways so
the same theory might be there 5 times but in different formats so
anyone can understand it. I Plan on having streaming videos too for an
even easier and more entertaining way of getting the knowledge to
people.

The site is meant to be a way for people to find information and
hopefully get some fresh faces interested in our freaky passion of
Realitivity.

So please post your ideas here as to what you would like to see there
or feel free to visit at http://www.QuantumTheory.org and give me
feedback from what you see. (while the blue site I am using is nice,
it will be changed to a custom design within the next few days, so
dont freak if it changes on you suddenly )

Thanks in advance for your feedback

Lee

So isolate the twerps first.
Why give them a single opportunity, let alone three,

OK thanks you two for your feedback:

First, Im not sure what the psychology of this site has to do with my
site? I see alot of intelligent people here... but alot of twerps that
do nothing but flame. So that part I want to avoid.

RE; The links page. Fair enough. I had a posting elsewhere on the web
for people to post their links on that page just to populate it.
As stated in the original post of mine, I am currently working on
formatting texts in several "skill" levels (so they can be understand
by people of all education levels) as well as creating videos (albeit,
low quality as I am no film maker) etc to help in finding a way to
"more easily" explain this field to people who perhaps do not have a
back ground in it or are simply perplexed by various aspects therin.

I went to your site at QuantumTheory.org. The biggest problem
with it is that there is no information about quantum theory.
Your "links" page is completely bogus.

I would expect a site like yours to have links to material about
the subject, in particular to introductory material. I would
also expect such a site to have information about current papers
in the field, e.g. http://arxiv.org/list/quant-ph/recent

Sorry, but What's "Top Post"? Im not used to this format of threading,
so If i did something "rude" as you suggest.. forgive for lack of a
clear and concise thread here.

I do wonder why google would use this antiquated style, bandwidth
perhaps?

Thanks for your feedback :

Two things:
1) Don't top post. It is rude, and it doesn't read well upon later review
(this site is archived).
2) Flamers happen. Develop a method to handle it/them. You are proposing
a public forum, and some of the pubLic is missing the "L" if you catch my
drift.

This allows one to read, in sequence, the order of response.

Because it is free to all, with minimum requirements.

This is.
Normally we read down the page.
Here I'm giving the answer before the question.

Well really, IMO I think 3 times may be to strict even. There are
times when communication plays a very important factor online. All to
often, people misinterpret meaning (either the sender, receiver or the
3rd party) as hostile when it could be intended or received in another
way entirely. Obviously, blatant "Your an asshole!" type posts would
be edited or deleted and a private reprimand be issued (as I feel
respect for all is key).. it is simply to easy to misconstrue
non-verbal communiques online.

Sadly, until some speech major finds a solid, reliable way for people
to convey true meaning behind an intended message (and provided it
isn't abused), this will be an issue that anyone who moderates has to
be aware of.

I guess the best answer I can give to that is: there would most likely
be few bannings, many warnings and a few editing/deleting of posts
eventually.

However, to get to that point.. I feel I should probably have more
than 2 "non-related" members on my site lol.

Thanks for your feedback
