What is the speed of the gamma rays, Evens?

Multiple choice question.

The speed of a gamma ray is given as v_g, and the speed of a X-ray
is given as v_x.

Which of the following is true?

1) v_g v_x
2) v_x v_g
3) v_g = v_x

Geese, do you intend repeating this year's study when you fail your exams?

Looks like a valid question to me personally. But OK, here's
a slightly different formulation.

An experiment performed far out on distant Pluto generates a pair
of gamma rays by partical annihilation, one of which is aimed
at the Earth. Simultaneously, the experimental box flashes a light
and sends a radio wave back to Earth. Assuming that these events
can occur simultaneously, which of these reaches Earth first, and why?

If Pluto's not far enough out, try Alpha Centauri.
