Infinity is the same constant regardless of viewpoint, is I think the crux.
Infinity plus any number or times any number is still infinity. Relativity
is based on speed c being infinity, in the number line that is speed. The
speed c will be perceived the same from all frames of reference because
infinity is thusly invariant.

I personally am comfortable with that conclusion. Light is the
quintessential mediator of all that exists, so it's only reasonable that her
unique speed be inviolable and expressly tantamount to infinity.
