It is precisely the same as saying
about diabetics: 'If they would only be more disciplined and nice, they
wouldn't need that insulin.'

Actually, digitalis - epilepsy would be a better simile than insulin -
diabetes.

I hope you don't practise medicine professionally ;-(

What, you mean heart disease (digitalis) is different than epilepsy
(dilantin, etc.)?

No, I helped a fellow that had a "grand mal" seizure (kept him from hitting
furniture), but I misremembered what it was he was taking. Years take
their toll...

Thanks for the catch!

Guess who thinks I am a top bloke?
Guess who comes to visit whenever he can?
THE KID WHO REALISES THAT I AM THE ONE WHO ACTUALLY
CARED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is happier at my house, with the "threat" of an ear pinch (which
apparently equates to you pathetic wimps as 100 lashes), than he is at
home, where he can indulge himself to his heart's content.

On class size: I attended a primary school where grades 5,6,7 were
taught together. What degree of boredom do you think that meant to the
older ones? Of course it wasn't ideal, and some were probably
penalised by not being able to extend their abilities, and were
frustrated. OTH, put 5 "ADDs" in a room (or let them do exactly as
they like), and what would they "achieve"? F*A

On ACTUAL mental condition: The point is, this kid had NOTHING
basically wrong with him. Neither do thousands of others! The
do-gooders destroyed his life, by making him feel as if there really
was! They should be boiled in oil! To compare ADD (??????) with
something like epilepsy is obscene.

Dog ownership: Yours is enclosed by a 3meter fence, right? If it
wasn't, being able to "do its own thing, due to mental superiority",
it would be long since a road splatter. My last dog rarely was so
abused, because he didn't ignore me, like your darling brats. Nothing
like "here boy" to prevent a road kill.

For Bilge: Being an apparent "sufferer", your hitherto encumbered
brain is hereby free to soar! Thus freed, it should be a piece of ****
to supply mental gems such as...........
..............JUST ONE EXAMPLE OF A "LESS THAN ZERO" IN NATURE

A kid in our street is "diagnosed" as having ADD. He is impossible at
school and home, throwing temper tantrums, breaking things etc.
Passing strange though! He came to our house, wanting to play with my
daugter (6). I quietly took him out the back, pinched his ear HARD,
and told him he was quite welcome, so long as he NEVER tried that crap
at our house. Guess what? He was NEVER a problem with us (gave him a
little reminder occassionally), and came regularly to visit- he was a
different kid!
Moral: ADD in most cases is politically correct psycho-babble which
can be corrected by explaining to the "sufferer" that he/she has been
seen to be nothing but naughty, nasty, self-indulgent brat, and
discipline FIRMLY APPLIED.

Amen! That is so true!
