Default Favourite famous theoretical physicist

Hi guys
I am just wondering who is your favourite famous theoretical physicist at
the moment and why? Also who do you think is a better physicist, E. Witten
or S. Hawking? The second question is just out of no where, but I just want
to see whom you prefer and why and so on when it comes to physics. Thank
you.

Feynman, because he was such a character and had a really good sense for
physics.

No comment on Hawking or Witten.

I like Weinberg because I love the books he writes - both technical and non
technical. Witten has won the fields medal, which IMHO equivalent to a
Nobel prize but has not (as yet) the impressive track record of Weinberg.
However if he was to win a Nobel prize then he would go right to the top of
my list.

Thanks
Bill
