I'll give you that a subcursory examination may lead one to believe
anything one wants, but there is a pattern here that defies random
movement of the "locals". I don't care how you wish to non-measure
such things; they are there nonetheless, and not in any way as purely
imaginative. Pattern is there. If it were not, then you would be the
only one not able to see it.

tell you it's in the opposite direction. I prefer a cashiers check,

You can copy a specific EXPRESSION of a theory, but you can not
copyright the theory itself. Neither can you copyright an idea or a
fact - just specific descriptions of them.

Furthermore, as soon as you write something it is automatically
copyrighted. No further action is needed. Although it may be
necessary to register your copyright, if you want to claim that it has
been infringed.

So my words, "Dwain W. Higginbotham's theory about 'the center of the
universe' is just another bit of foolishness that is littering the
Internet" are copyrighted by me and are mine alone. But if you want
to ridicule Higginbotham's theory with your own words, that's fine.
