The Outrageous Pretension that Physicists Comprehend the One and Only
Possible Universe Einstein said, "What really interests me is whether God had any choice in the creation of the world." Thanks to the extraordinarily brilliant Theory of Everything, Einstein's metaphysical curiosity has been answered fully. It is now certain that God had no choice in either the creation of the universe or in selecting any of its physical laws. The brainwashing is so complete that physicists either can't conceive of or refuse to acknowledge the most trivial alternatives to SR. http://www.everythingimportant.org/viewtopic.php?t=605 http://www.everythingimportant.org/viewtopic.php?t=468 Eugene Shubert |

Unless your "alternative" is smoke and dung, it should almost trivially predict the time dilation... lets see the calculation (not just the answer, but the calculation)! |

It is now certain that God had no choice in either the
creation of the universe or in selecting any of its physical laws. Persons duped by the time lords of SR and GR do indeed say that. http://www.everythingimportant.org/viewtopic.php?t=468 Eugene Shubert |

1. There is no theory of every thing as of today. And if we ever manage to
formulate one, it will only be a model that simplifies the observed universe. 2. Science is not interested in metaphysical questions. The question of free will has been addressed over and over again by theology. This is not the realm of physics. 3. The understanding we have of the physical universe has come a long way from the mechanical determinism of the last couple of centuries. In quantum mechanics we can only establish the probability of an event. Ideas such as the uncertainty principle set limits inherent in nature in regard to what is knowledgeable. The way in which you ascertain your claim shows you are irrational and emotional. You are sitting in front of this wonderful machine called computer because people stopped asking "why" things are and focused on "how" they are. |

In particular I would like to see how he can adhere to the POR and not have linear transformations. The proof that the symmetry properties of the POR leads to linear transformations is too well known to ignore. Thanks Bill |
