Default $100 reward

I have presented some new ideas below. I offered the general idea to the
moderated forum but they weren't interested. I had misgivings about

putting it
here two days ago and they have been borne out. But, its the only game in

town
and its a shame. The why files and Dr. Neutrino were so much better. At

any
rate I'm going to try to ignore the insulting responses in the future.

I'll pay
at least $100 to each person that is the first to convince me I'm wrong

about
any part of this theory.

ON AN ABSOLUTE REFERENCE FRAME
By Dwain W. Higginbotham

I believe there is an absolute reference frame with every intuitive bone

in my
body. By "absolute reference frame" I mean one stationary spot in the

universe
to which every particle in the universe relates motionwise.

Disregarding the "past" presumably.

This spot would
have to be the center of the universe.

If another spot were at rest with this "spot", wouldn't the entire Universe
still be moving wrt either? Then you could have a bunch of centers.

Donate the $100 to a good textbook, then read it.

DWH says: I have said in the paper that the question of what came before is
eliminated. Is this what you mean? I am a rocket scientist, not a cryptologist.

This spot would
have to be the center of the universe.

If another spot were at rest with this "spot", wouldn't the entire Universe
still be moving wrt either? Then you could have a bunch of centers.

DWH says: I have stated quite clearly my definition of an absolute reference
frame.
Do you need directions printed on the heel as well?

Donate the $100 to a good textbook, then read it.

DWH says: I don't need advice from any of you people. Just show me where I'm
wrong and I'll be happy to pay.

Classic troll. Sorry, thought you were serious.

DWH says: You will recall that I asked privately via email, what your
credentials were. You replied you had none cosmologically speaking

"Cosmologically speaking" means what, in this context? You don't even
think about what you post do you?

but wondered
why that made any difference. Perhaps now you can see the reason for my
concern.

That a mechanical engineer can find simple flaws in your ravings? Yes,
lots of room for concern there.

Here you are, insinuating your way into potentially, one of the
greatest debates in history, and all you can do is make inane,

nonsensical
comments.

You don't seem to understand. You are the one making inane, nonsensical
comments. What single response have you made to the many that have pointed
out that a rest frame does not have to be a point? "You're all wrong, and
I am right." Real scientific. Lots of logic involved there.

Get lost!

No thanks. I don't want to run into you again. You are lost enough for
the whole newsgroup.

David A. Smith

PS: plonk!
