Once you've figured out Lorentz transforms, plot yourself a little
1-dimensional graph as an exercise with three observers, where one is
sitting on the earth and the other two are moving away from the earth,
one towards and the other away from Andromeda.

Then compute what each of these observers is going to see.
(Hint the easiest way to do this is probably by drawing light cones).
