Ofcource Hydrogen & Helium. But what else? Let's ask our good, personal friend, spectroscopy. He says "everything up to and including Iron". [snip rest of fantastic stupidity] |

weedhopper wrote: There is no sun. It is an optical illusion attributed to gravitational lensing. You moron! Maybe if you read a freshman science book, you'd know that the sun not only exists, but it is a flat disk that for some reason always faces the earth just as the moon does. In fact, when the astronauts went to the moon they were at enough of an angle that they could see the sun was FLAT, but this proof has been totally covered up by the government! |

BOfL "Sanny" wrote in message ... Ofcource Hydrogen & Helium. But what else? We know Hydrogen & Helium are gases so they are seen at the top of Sun. But whaty about the Core? Is there any Solid Crust under the Gases? Is there Molten Lava (Iron) Just like we have molten lava inside Earth Crust? Is All Iron inside the Earth Crust in Molten State? Why is Earth so hot inside it is because of High Pressure of Mass on Earth? If we dig Suns Crusr will we find Molten Iron under its Crust Is Sun due to high Temperature in Gaseous State Or it has Solid & Liquid. If Earth Soil is thrown on Sun will the Soil melt? Can the Soil convert into gas if thrown on such high temperature? Can Iron be seen as a Gas in Sun? What is the Boiling temperature of Clay/ Iron etc Can we Melt and convert clay into molten state and then further burn it to convert into gaseous State? Bye Sanny |

wrote on Sun, 4 May 2008 10:22:04 -0700 (PDT) : Ofcource Hydrogen & Helium. But what else? We know Hydrogen & Helium are gases so they are seen at the top of Sun. Helium was in fact discovered in Sol first, as an unknown spectrum line. But whaty about the Core? Is there any Solid Crust under the Gases? Is there Molten Lava (Iron) Just like we have molten lava inside Earth Crust? The short answer is "no". Research "Frauenhofer lines" and get back to us. The short answer is "yes". What is the Boiling temperature of Clay/ Iron etc Can we Melt and convert clay into molten state and then further burn it to convert into gaseous State? Considering that the Sun's surface is 5800 K, and that the highest boiling point of anything I know of offhand is bismuth at 1837 K, I doubt anything solid is at the Sun's core or anywhere else in Sol, though it would probably be a very strange fluid state anyway because of the extreme temperatures and pressures therein. Bye Sanny The Sun is so heavy that it is made of many elements right off of the periodic table, elements of spirit. That is why couples enjoy the night time sky so much. The stars have spirit. Wow, Mark, that is soooo cosmic. -- "Substantiation that you regard yourself as a God to be worhsipped [sic] should be your concern, Deco." -- David Tholen |

Dogs poo becaue it's the dirt that is supposed to be my lawn
and I'm trying to get grass to grow. Not to worry. I carefully follow them around with chicken gravy, placing a generous dollop on each deposit. The following day the dogs helpfully remove the poo. And the expression on the faces of their humans is worth the price of the gravy. Socks |
