The “ Great Unwashed ” prefer HTML, so let them have it.

I've never had a better / faster NNTP server than I do now,
and it costs me nothing ( I use Reader.Motzarella.ORG:80 ).
I download MP3 files cost-free using Sharaza ( like LimeWire ).

My ( anonymous ) dialup ISP is also better than ever;
I can download for days on end with no disconnects.
It costs me nothing and it's ad-free ( I use NoCharge.COM ).

I have to pay for a land-line ( 10 / mo. ) and Cotse.NET ( 6 / mo. ).
I've unlimited inboxes and 150 megs of private / public ad-free hosting.

Default Which cigarettes are as wide as a wooden matchstick ( 1 mm ) ?

Crazy people stay crazy?

Which cigarettes are as wide as a wooden matchstick ( 1 mm ) ?
I once found ( and smoked ) a 1 mm wide cigarette
and loved it, but I didn't note the brand name.

Bidis? The cloves make you smarterr!

I can't find the brand name on the Internet,
and none of my tobacco shops know anything about it,
so I'm thinking it was from Japan or something.

India & pakistan originally.

Normally, I fill machine-maded filtered tubes with tobacco.
I can't afford that anymore, so I'm looking for alternatives.

Try the local dog park.

Sun-dried lawn clippings work, sun-dried leaves work,
ground sage ( looks like lint ) kind of works and I can buy it
at bulk-prices ( 11 dollars a pound ) using food stamps.

Poor people can get food stamps
and 12 dollars off their monthly phone bill;
I don't get anything else ( e.g. no cash, no housing ).

Smoking will make you die faster.
Do you wanna die faster Jeffy?
Discuss.

You can't do it manually, you'll get it wrong, as you did. You need to
fix your broken newsreader to do it automatically, correctly. I'll send
you the source of nn to help you out, if you want.

Your posting style stinks, mine smells like roses.

This is so absurd, it's unbelievable. You probably think your **** smells
like roses, too.

I've never had a better / faster NNTP server than I do now,

How can you even tell over a dialup line? (a dialup line. How last
century. It's 2008. And you try to chide me for using nn!)

And don't whine that you have to do it that way because you were "forced"
in living the way you do because you wouldn't assume financial
responsibility for spawning.

Smoking is about enjoying life, the spice of life.
Why live a long miserable life when you can live a short full one ?

The mega-slim cigarette I smoked was machine made, bidis are handmade.
It was mostly white with a fancy design, it's a premium cig, I'm sure.
It must be from Japan or something, I can't locate it on the Internet.

Capri, Misty and Virginia SuperSlims have a 17 mm circumference
instead of the more usual 25 mm. They are the slimmest cigs I can buy.
The circumference of the cig I'm looking for would be about 6 mm;
i.e. 2 mm wide, like a wooden matchstick or pencil lead.

Default I already have the header of your post, please don't repeat it.

No matter the reason, I can't afford anything but free dialup.

My attributions were flawless, auto-generated from your header,
it was merely a condensed version of your header.
I snip your attibution lines ( obviously ), like you snipped mine.

That's my point ! I already have the header of your post,
it's in plain view ( in a condensed form ),
so I don't need you ( and others ) repeating it.

You stink up the place when you start your post with crap like:
“ =?UTF-8?Q?Jeff=E2=96=B2Relf?= writes: ”.
You don't realize it, but it Does count against you.

My list of message ID's ( up to 5 levels away ) was oldest first,
going down the root to your post.

If you honestly found something wrong with it,
I'd love to know about it so I can correct it. From your post, it's:

You made your bed, you gotta sleep in it. Sucks to be you.

You gotta do it right. Put it on the top line, and autogenerated
attributions should not go beyond the first. Earlier ones will already be
there from previous posts if not snipped. This works out so the most
recent is first.

You don't realize it, but it Does count against you.

Only in your book. Nobody cares about that.

I take it back, sort of. Just replying to you counts against me. Every
time I do, many curse me for 'feeding the trolls'. So, I guess it's time I
take advantage of a feature of nn I haven't used much, called a "killfile".
Does your newsreader support a killfile? Since in addition to 'feeding
the troll', you're starting to bore me, and this conversation isn't going
anywhere, I'll introduce you to it. nn's killfile features are limited,
but it does have a time period in days, or permanent. Perhaps I'll give
you a year, or perhaps only a month. I should put George Hammond in there
as well, while I'm at it. Someone's comment about the 'crazy uncle that
you keep locked in the attic' bugs me now. I actually like arguing with
netkooks, but the two of you are wasting far too much of my time.

What's kind of neat is that, despite the fact that nn cannot parse UTF-8,
I can kill on the string "=?UTF-8?Q?" and kill off any posts using UTF-8
characters in the subject or name fields. Kind of neat unintended feature.

One last comment: You mention a tradeoff between 'living fast' and 'living
long'. I hardly consider being holed up in a cave of a rooming house room,
smoking catnip or grass clippings, reading usenet over a dialup line, in
fear the next knock on the door may be the Deadbeat Dad police to be 'living
fast'. On the other hand, I wouldn't want to 'live long' like that, either.
But to each their own.

See you 'later'. If you find your matchstick cigarettes, take a drag for
me. Bye!

I'm keeping an eye-out for those premium brand matchstick cigarettes,
about 6 mm in circumference ( SuperSlims are 17 mm, normal is 25 mm ).
Likely, I'll just roll them myself.

Speaking of catnip and sun-dried grass clippings..
I'm trying lots of ( bulk priced ) spices:
Dill Weed, Marjoram, Thyme leaves, onion flakes,
garlic flakes, sweet basil leaf, etc.

Rosemary ( like hard pine needles ) on a bed of “ Rubbed Sage Leaf ”
sounds promising. The rubbed sage is like lint,
it filters out some the smoke ( at least at first ), hence the rosemary.

You're allergic to software upgrades, it seems.
Instead of plonking posts with “ =? UTF-8 ? Q ? ”.
I suggest you upgrade your long-decrepit newsreader.

I never plonk anyone, especially not direct replies;
instead, I'm kept busy anwering direct / indirect replies to me,
up to 5 levels away.. and I watch posts from certain “ Nyms ”.

On ( very ) rare occasions, if someone really engrosses me,
I read not only their posts, but all direct / indirect replies
to their posts ( as flagged by my hand-rolled newsreader ).

Smoking "tobacco" is good for me. It prevents
colds, cures ashma, allergies and is as good
as a cup of coffee as a stimulant.
But there are important rules to healthy smoking.
Don't inhale off a butane lighter or a match, so
discard the 1st few puffs.
Don't inhale deeply, just enough.

Use tobacco that is as pure as can be found.
Some tobacco contains cough suppresant additives,
that's not good, because a cough cleans the lungs,
and that is good, so a good occasional cough from
tobacco rids the body of pollutants.

Smoking protects against radiation exposure.
There's more, but that's a start.
Ken
