The thread is based on the “ References ” field in the header,
it has nothing to do with titles. Titles should reflect the content of the post, I maintain. Reluctantly, indirectly, you're admitting that you can't see the thread, just like you can't post UTF-8 ( 8-bit Unicode ). Shame on you ! I regularly update my newsreader ( including today ). I assign weights ( i.e. XRanks, like PageRank™ ) to watch Nyms, etc. When was the last time “ nn ” was updated ? it's decrepit. Does it understand MIME ? CharSets ( like UTF-8 ) ? threads ? quoted printable ( in a header ) ? F.Y.I., the immediate subthread, most recent first, going up the root, is: Michael_Moroney Jeff▲Relf Darwin123 Jeff▲Relf Jeff▲Relf Darwin123 |

A planet must either Spiral Away From or Into the sun.
I already told you ( and others, via direct replies ) that I was wrong about that, so give it a rest why don't you ? A simple orbit doesn't spiral away. In “ et ” Keith_L had the best comment: The moon might've once had a stable orbit 5,000 miles from the Earth. Slowly, the earth is spiraling away from the sun. Earth's spinning tides also affect it's orbit with the sun ( not just the moon ) and the sun is losing mass. |

Worlds are born out of a solar Eruptions and and become Planets that on their turn become Suns... and produce planets on their turn... Bravo Jeff... |

Why would anyone want to imagine the earth turning into
it's own solar system ( assuming it were possible ) ? Ask yourself this: “ What Really matters ? ”. The only lord that matters in the landlord ( e.g. the government ); and, at some level, every landlord is also a tenant. |

By the way, I ( for one ) am very put-off with people ( like you )
who begin their posts with crap like: “ =?UTF-8?Q?Jeff=E2=96=B2Relf?= writes: ”. I much prefer those who concisely paraphrase ( or quote with “ ” quote marks, as books do ). For any half-competent Usenetter, the thread is still there. |

It is useful (no matter what the newsreader is) because the point being replied to is right there, amd you don't have to chase the References: thread. Also if you're replying to one or two points from a 200 line post, you don't have to (re)read the 200 line post and try to figure out which point is being commented on. If you don't like it, feel free to go away, as Usenet isn't for you. No one cares, JeffglyphRelf. As long as you continue to flaunt usenet conventions, you will continue to be laughed at and scorned. ITYM 'flout' usenet conventions. |
