I am buying computer components for my next pc, and I am trying to consider the audio levels of the various components. The problem is that I am not sure how these two different values relate to each other. For example, fans usually have a rating that looks like: Noise: 26dB(A) Whereas the new hardrive has a rating that says: Acoustic - Idle (bels - sound power) 2.5 Is this a really obvious thing, and am I right in guessing that 2.6 bels is the same is 26 dB?
