Uncle Al took advantage of my downed computer to attack me as in
effect contributing stuff that nobody's interested in.

Uncle Al ignores several types of contributors in doing this.

1. People who contribute their own ideas just for the sake of
Knowledge and discovery (many of them are more elementary than mine so
they sometimes get a few replies - occasionally many).

2. People who contribute in pairs or knowing others on the forum,
automatically getting responses.

3. People who get replies by others to whom they've also replied -
sort of reciprocal replying. I used to do that and got more replies
than now.

4. People who're too scared of Uncle Al to comment on people whom he's
insulted; and by extension (or assumption) who're scared that their
own bureaucratic departments will object to ideas that Al doesn't
like.

5. People who literally don't know advanced physics and can't
understand my postings and are too busy with the usual detail-oriented
courses to study my stuff (at least now - they might look at the
archives some day).

Considering the number of people who aren't, never were, and never
will be interested in what Uncle Al has to say I wouldn't let it
bother me.

Zick Uncle Al is not known for his good manners. He is known and
appreciated for his great mind. I don't know what his I Q is but I will
bet it is higher than anyone in this group. Reality is it is nice we
have him to be critical of us. bert
