This is good but unexpected from the antiScience president of Mr.
Bush. One of the reasons I feel that Mr. Dean would make a nice new
president because he has the background and education and *logic*
because he is a trained medical doctor. The very best leaders of the
USA had a large background in science-- Jefferson, Franklin, Hamilton
and if not for the science background of leaders of the USA then the
USA would not now be the superpower.

Too many of the recent presidents to the USA were weak in science and
this is a horrible pitfall. I have proposed that any president must
have a level of Science background and if not, disqualified from ever
becoming the president.

And it is a shame that few Medical doctors have become president of
the USA and that too many lawyers and celebrities and people who have
had little contact with Science and Logic. So I think the time is ripe
that the president of the USA have a good and large background of
Science and Logic.

We need to return to the Moon for I feel it was never thoroughly
explored. I would bet that the Moon is rich in either uranium or in
coal (perhaps both). And that whatever country begins to transport and
cargo haul uranium back to Earth, using the Moon as a gigantic open
pit mine will dominate the politics on Earth
from about 2304 onwards. And whatever country dominates the Moon will
begin to dominate Mars.

Planet Earth will deplete its oil by 2200 and where uranium then
becomes 95% of the world energy source. Thus, whoever controls Moon
and Mars will control Earth.
The thing nice about uranium is that it is light and compact to cargo
haul back to Earth and that a tiny amount of uranium is worth in
energy a mountain of coal.

Scientists would make terrible presidents. They are not dishonest
enough to do the sneaky things necessary for us to survive.
Scientists just do not (gross generalization based on my personal
experience)understand ppl well enough to screw our enemies while
sounding nice.
