Actually not. Given enough time, chance movements often form patterns,
and - one formed - these patterns have a tendency to repeat themselves,
especially if that "chance" (our universe) also happens to contain
certain "laws" that promote ("insist" even) on coalescence and
persistence. There's been plenty of time it seems: string theory seems
to imply that some form of a universe (or universes) has been around
forever.

Best line I've read in this entire thread. Can't tell if you
fully grasp the profound sarcasm (since string theory is pure
mathematical fantasy, of course). But I enjoyed it tremendously.
