To Kev From Smart1234 Concerning A Comment He Made About God

Thanks for pointing out to me showing that God killed kids, using a
reference in the Book of Samuel. I didn't know God did this. It enlightened me
about the Old Testament God. I thought He was Love. I never really read the
whole bible. So what else does this imply about this God? Well if He says He
can't be judged because He is God and that He never sinned, well let's look at
origin sin. Adam and Eve were found guilty of reading a book of the knowledge
of good and evil when told not to. Okay but, who told God He could read the
forbidden book? If this book causes death, shouldn't He die too? Do I rebel
against God? No. I think this God should repent of His own sins and find
forgiveness through Jesus Christ. When Jesus Christ was here on earth He even
had to change laws made by the Old Testament God. In my opinion, the God of the
Old Testament isn't God. I believe Jesus Christ is the only One God. His ways
showed that He was Love and Mercy and Forgiveness The Way, The Truth and The
Life. God is Love. The Old Testament God is not love, but one of punishment and
judgement and wrath for sinners. But what good is judgement and law if we are
all guilty according to the Old Testament God. Doesn't these defeat the purpose
of punishment which was to promote life? Punishment is used to protect and give
life to others not guilty. But if all are guilty, this defeats it's purpose to
give life. Sin judgement brings death not life. Mercy and forgiveness and love
brings life. Jesus Christ is the only God I know. There is only one God, not
two. So through the Spirit of Jesus and Himself, we can have life. Jesus Christ
not only saved us, He had to have saved the Old Testament God too, if He still
believed in Him. Look at the Our Father Prayer..... .
