I came to the US in the 1980s. At that time a lot of Americans had Brit
managers and the Americans used to look up to those limerys because they
"seemed" to be more cultured (because of thier accents)..

Maybe it was our spelling too.

Actually most of
these limey managers (at least the ones I knew) were great communicators and
adept and pulling strings (and wool), with a few being actually capable in
the Technology they were dealing with.

That's usually the way managers are, haven't you noticed?

Then comes the big IT explosion and a
lot of Indians began to get promoted and move up - much to the consternation
of these limey managers.

No, before I learned that most Indian are raving Nationalists
who put their loyalty to India before everything else, including
taste and honesty, I used to enjoy working with Indians.

One by one, the limey managers in the company I worked for (run by white
Americans) either were fired or left.

In the company I worked for, the Indians and the Brits were equally
promoted, for similar reasons, we both work hard and accept smaller
salaries.

Soon there were some Indian VPs and
members in the board.

At the US defense company I recently left, there was an entire English
division, but no Indian VPs.

The more the Indians were promoted, the more the limey
managers could not take it.

Maybe these particular Indian VPs were obnoxious or something.

Eventually a lot of limey managers ended up
going to Canada or some other lime-loving society.

It does? Isn't the process of rubbishing an entire nation generally
described as racism? Maybe those ****s over on sci.physics can explain
why they find Uncle Al's use of the epithet 'wog' so objectionable but
have nothing to say about your career of anti-British racism.

Sure, exceptions exist, but
the generalization is right on the money.

I wish we could have a bit more suport from the Hindu far right in our
fight against Al Quaeda. It baffles me why fat, bald ******s like Devon
Hill support Indians against British netters.
