Default LASER WEB SITE

This posting is similar to one already made at alt. lasers and
alt.physics.

For those with an interest in lasers, I invite a click of the mouse to
my web
site on lasers.
www.laservideodocumentary.com

This will, in turn, direct you to the Motion Matrix web site, where
you can view a short documentary I produced on lasers. You will need a
good, updated Windows Media Player to view the video. It is free to
view, but I would greatly appreciate a few people actually buying a
DVD so I can meet the rather large expenses of making it and a longer
17 1/2 minute version, which includes some good material on quantum
computing, holographic images and more on the history of lasers.
This effort to produce a documentary on lasers began in March 2004 --
nearly two years ago. I am trying to secure a grant to produce at
least a one-hour documentary on lasers, which will connect it all to
quantum mechanics and related physics research.
I would welcome any help out there in cyberspace from anyone with
real, proven expertise in acquiring grants for documentaries --
whether through NSF, Sloan Foundation, Texas Instruments or anywhere
else. There have been many books in recent years looking at lasers BUT
NOT A SINGLE TELEVISION DOCUMENTARY on the broad scope of lasers in at
least 14 years.
Thanks for any help.

The BBC has a web site for people who want to make TV programs ...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/commissioning/

...but last time I looked you need to know a lot about program making in
order to just complete their forms. Perhaps try and interest one of the
producers of the Horizon series....
