no, it means that if you are really as "brilliant" as you claim, then
you should be
smart enough to spend 1 year to make a million dollars in the free
marketplace, and
then use your own money to study string theory. Why should we believe
you are smart enough to study string theory if you can't even beat out
the little guy to make yourself a million dollars?

Basically, if you're so smart, why aren't you rich? It doesn't take
but a year to invent something or start a business to make a million

Apart from the question whether string theory is worthless or not ...
