Default 4 or 12 dimensional version of string theory.

om...

Do you think we could have a 4 dimensional version of string theory
using three branes? I think we can do that. There seems to be a factor
of 8 in string theories. Even if we had to have a 12 dimensional
string theory, maybe the compactification of 8 dimensions will make
the theory easier to solve, even though there are more dimensions.

What exactly is everybody's thoughts on this?

Hi, Starblade

Space, yes how to count it?
You give time 1 second as a dimension. (Duration changes in matter.)
You give lenght 1 meter as a dimensin. (Distance.)
You give space 3 axis x,y,z as dimensions. (Directions.)

You se, space doesen't have a specific numbers of dimensions
(x,y,z=3 dimensions). We give space it three (legs) x,y,z because it's
simplest and most logical to GIVE SPACE THREE DIMENSIONS!

It's just most easy to CALCULATE AND VISUALIZE
with 3 space directions for intellects.

So string theorists just give space a amount of dimensions what
is good for their theory in mind. One theory is good with 10 space
dimensions. And the other theory is best with 4 space dimensions.

Space doesen't have a specific three dimensional structure, it's just
a silly construction of human mind. Space is all between non-dimensional
and infinite-dimensional. SPACE DO NOT HAVE ANY SPECIFIC
AMOUNT OF DIMENSIONS OR DIRECTIONS.
