Default Can we live under Ocean?

We know earth is covered with 3/4 th water.

Since we have used most of the Land Surface on earth and destroyed
nearly all the forest for agriculture and Industries.

I feel if we Start living in Ocean and save Land that will be great
idea.

We can create Big Ships the size of 100KM x 100 KM and develop it into
a big City and we will have 100s of floating cities in Pacafic Ocean.

And those floating Cities can call themselves as a seperate country.
They will use Natural Resources under Ocean and Mine Gold/ Iron/ Coal/
Oil from Ocean.

And with advances in Science we may build big houses and societies
under water.

Those houses will be water proof that is once you go inside that house
the atmosphere will not have any moisture though it is under the sea.
Just like under sea tunnels.

These houses will have big pipes which inhale air from atmosphere
above the sea and recirculate air.

So Humans will get 3 times the land to live in.

So those who like to float on Ocean with Big City sized Ships will
live in 100 Km Big Cities floating in Oceans and Others may live in
Buildinmgs Under the Ocean.

And what about the Land: We can use half of the Land for Agriculture.
and rest 1/4th for Solar Energy enough for whole world. And rest 1/4th
we can reserve for Wild Life.

This way we can save Tigers/ Lions/ Elephants from Extincting. And
Land will be full of Big Jungels and we will come on land to see
mystries of Nature.

Reminds me of
http://www.amazon.com/Millennial-Pro.../dp/0316771635

Colonizing the Galaxy in Eight Easy Steps

1. Foundation -- Constitute an organization convened to realize these
destinies

2. Aquarius -- Cities built in the tropical oceans as a first step to
learning how to build colonies in space. They also would generate
income to fund later steps.

3. Bifrost -- First step in actually getting off the Earth.

4. Asgard -- Build Space stations in low Earth orbit and throughout
the Solar System.

5. Avallon -- Build colonies on the Moon by doming over the craters
and creating miniature ecologies.

6. Elysium -- Start Terraforming Mars "create a living planet to
sustain us".

7. Solaria -- Use the materials in the Solar System to rebuild it the
way we want.

8. Galactia -- Colonize beyond the Solar System, expand throughout the
galaxy.

In the early stages of the Project, Savage recommends Spirulina algae
as a primary foodstuff, supplemented by seafood mariculture from the
cities of the Aquarius phase.

The Earth's surface is 3/4 water.

Notice the "E" is capatilized and there is no "th" after "3/4".

Since we have used most of the Land Surface on earth and destroyed

Nonsense.

Where did you get this idiotic idea?

I feel if we Start living in Ocean and save Land that will be great
idea.

That's because you are an idiot with the mind of a child.

We can create Big Ships the size of 100KM x 100 KM and develop it into
a big City and we will have 100s of floating cities in Pacafic Ocean.

So where do you get the potatoes to feed the people and the cotton to
make the clothes?

And those floating Cities can call themselves as a seperate country.
They will use Natural Resources under Ocean and Mine Gold/ Iron/ Coal/
Oil from Ocean.

By using fairy dust.

And with advances in Science we may build big houses and societies
under water.

Yeah, right.

the atmosphere will not have any moisture though it is under the sea.

Under sea tunnels are humid as hell.

You are a babbling idiot.

Hi Sanny, (Wifes daughters nik-name is Sanny,
from Cassandra).

A modern sub like the Typhoon here,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Typhoon_class_submarine
could remain underwater for 20-50 years by
using fishing nets to replenish food stores.
It uses nuclear power to create fresh water,
and fresh air.
Entire cities can be nuclear powered, with
everyone using electric cars mostly, and
growing the food indoors.

With great imaginations like yours, I am sure we will all survive whatever
mess we have made of the ecology.

Keep it up, 'till you get there.

You know it. We know the empirically observed value.

Since we have used most of the Land Surface on earth and destroyed
nearly all the forest for agriculture and Industries.

[snip rest of crap]

Hey stooopid - the entire human (or what passes) population of the
Earth would easily fit onto Cuba with enough room/body remaining so
everybody could lay down and **** out more babies. Do the division.
How is that crowded planetarily?

Of course under water life as we know it could manage to sustain
itself, especially important as our magnetosphere continues to fail us
at roughly -.05%/yr.

A few meters of ocean would do wonders towards protecting our frail
DNA.

With some intelligent design luck, we might even find a safe way to
regain our gills, and learn to thrive on eating jellyfish.
