about education/scientific establishment, they all believe that they

have
some profound insights that others dont appreciate, they all talk

****...

Reminds me of one of Einstein's quotes:

"Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre
minds."

One of Steve's quotes:

"It is astonishing how many people think their version of
science is the one peice of wisdom that will deliver a killing blow
to the very foundations of logical thaught. It is unfortunate for them
that not one of these revolutionary concepts actually agrees with another,
nor are any of them experimentally demonstrable."

I know **** all about physics, I just try to deal with those little quanta
I need to, and great fun it is.

I suppose he had more than his share of detractors too.

While you're passing judgment of other's, think about another of
Einstiens quotes:

"The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who
are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it."
What are you doing about it; besides mouthing off?

Another hallmark of the crank is that they get aggressive when rationally
challenged

Nothing I hope: I neither envy or admire the guy.

By the way: Thanks for instructing me regarding editing and answering
