Default 700 lb levitating rocks of death valley...

some are saying they are 'wind blown'...is that a joke? maybe not.
these rocks leave tracks in the valley mud basin. Im starting to see
the possiblity of an air hockey like effect due to dimensional expansion
or doppler expansion as defined in lexology and the new science of
gravity. Im now thinking of setting up a remote experiment to see if i
can duplicate the effect outside of the one and only small corner of
death valley where this effect has been observed. its interesting that
the moving rocks are not observed to be rolling...they remain upright in
transit. Its also interesting to note the the rocks are darker then the
surrounding flats...given this small fact i can see some of what might
be called a black body effect or gradient as the cause especially when
the rocks are most fully exposed to solar radiation,,,

what is very interesting here for me is the strange similarity between
these dancing rocks of the desert and the more freely though
predictable dancing rocks of the asteroid belt.

anyone willing to give me a few million bucks if i can duplicate the
effect in a sand box with no wires attached?

If they 'leave tracks', then they never get off the ground, and they aren't
really 'levitating.'

You are unnecessarily complicating things. The Devil's Race Track is a dried
lake bed covered with dried clay. Ask anybody from the desert southwest of
the US about "caliche" and what happens when it gets wet. The coefficient
of friction practically vanishes. The same effect could have been used to
slide the rocks around while building the Egyptian pyramids.

Im now thinking of setting up a remote experiment to see if i
can duplicate the effect outside of the one and only small corner of
death valley where this effect has been observed.

I suggest anyplace you can find flat, level caliche and set up a wind
machine. You won't need much water - just enough to wet the surface - the
equivalent of abut 2 mm of rain.

its interesting that
the moving rocks are not observed to be rolling...they remain upright in
transit.

They are obviously *sliding* then, as one might expect if they are being
wind-blown across a nearly frictionless surface.

Its also interesting to note the the rocks are darker then the
surrounding flats...given this small fact i can see some of what might
be called a black body effect or gradient as the cause especially when
the rocks are most fully exposed to solar radiation,,,

....simply because they came down off the hills. Check the geology of the
area. The rocks of the Devils Race Track are of several kinds, and they all
seem to act about the same.

what is very interesting here for me is the strange similarity between
these dancing rocks of the desert and the more freely though
predictable dancing rocks of the asteroid belt.

"Dancing?" They are a mystery because nobody has ever *seen* them move,
whereas asteroids are *always* moving. Of course, it only rains in that
area once every few years, and when it does, the rain is literally blinding
and the winds are strong enough to blow a large man off his feet.

I am sure there have been publications on this, but current time constraints
do mo permit me to search for them for you.
