1. And how do you calculate this lifespan? Present black holes like
stars have lifespans of trillions of years.

2. Lifespan on Earth may be a trillion times greated than in deep
space because the GRAVITY VERSUS DISTANCE between a black hole and
neighboring stars/planets is weak where as on Earth it is extremely
large....and may provide the fuel(matter) to sustain and cause the
tiniest of black holes to grow.

Hey stooopid - nothing initally external can traverse a black hole's
event horizon as viewed externally.

Precisely my thought as well.

They should start thinking about how to extinquish a black hole before
actually creating one.

If things go wrong there won't be a way to stop it... that's bad.

It's like playing with dangerous big fire in wooden house without water in
the neighbourhood.

Besides from that I would be surprised if such a big machine would work
flawlessly the first time ?

Maybe they lieing... maybe they already activated the machine.

Besides things usually go wrong anyway.

Can you name one rocket project where it didn't explode the first time ?

Bye,
Skybuck.

Black holes once created keeps eating all the matter arround it and
Slowly eats other stars and galexies.

Most of the Galaxies are having a black hole in the center. So that
black hole keeps eating the galexy.

Are these Black holes warp holes. So if you jump into it you will get
out of another black hole with different time.

May be I jump and find myself in prehistoric age. And see how Early
Man lives.

Largest Black hole has mass of a Billion Suns.

Can a small blackhole created by LARGE HADRON COLLIDER if keeps
getting mass convert into a large black hole eating all earth, moon
and sun.

I think who creates Black holes.

My Theory. Living Beings on planets like earth when get advanced and
have understood all techniques to break atoms. Keep generating higher
energy. And Create a small Black hole. Once they create Black hole
Whole planet gets eaten by that Black hole and the near stars and
galexy are eaten.

So this is the way Life creates black hole in search of knowledge and
then kills themselves. Else Human beings may populate whole Universe.
So this is the way God controls Life by giving death to disturbing
spicies.

I asked a Child can you jump from 1 feet height. He said why not.

I increased height by 1 cm and said again Jump, The child jumped
happyly.

Again I increased height by 1 cm and Child Jumped
Again I increased height by 1 cm and Child Jumped
Again I increased height by 1 cm and Child Jumped
Again I increased height by 1 cm and Child Jumped
Again I increased height by 1 cm and Child Jumped
Again I increased height by 1 cm and Child Jumped

Child said by increasing 1 cm height nothing happens.

I did it 100 times.
And the height was 1 meter. And the Child Jumped.

I kept increasing the hight and when it reached 2 Meter the Child
Broke its legs.

So We are adding more and more energy to partical accelerator and
saying last time nothing happened So next time too nothing will
happen. And One time a small Black hole will be created.

Scientist will say this is small Black hole, Lets create a bigger
Black hole.
Again a little Bigger Black hole Created.
Again a little Bigger Black hole Created.
Again a little Bigger Black hole Created.
Again a little Bigger Black hole Created.
Again a little Bigger Black hole Created.
Again a little Bigger Black hole Created.
Again a little Bigger Black hole Created.
Again a little Bigger Black hole Created.

Scientis created a larger Black hole and it starts eating all the
matter arround it. No way to stop it.

Say there is a fire and you drop petrol on it will the fire Stop? It
will keep increasing with all the petrol.

For Black hole Whole earth is a Petrol So you just ignite the reaction
and that Black hole will eat whole earth.

Who know the other Black holes we see in sky have been the result of
such Scientists on another Planets.

So whenever you see a Black hole we can think there was some life form
as advance as human which was eaten by that Black hole.

Now itsEarth turn......

Bye
Sanny

Here's my thinking.
1. We don't know for sure that the next car started won't push global
warming past the warned irreversibility point. Therefore you should
not start a car until you are certain we've got global warming in
reversible control.
2. We don't know for sure that the next genetically engineered virus
won't be hardy against all extermination agents and wildly prolific,
as has been warned. We should therefore start thinking about universal
viral extermination agents before we do any more genetic engineering.
3. We don't know for sure that cell phone usage won't cause a massive
outbreak of brain cancer in 20 years, as has been warned. We should
therefore cease cell phone usage for 20 years while we find out if
initial users have a statistically higher cancer rate after 20 years.

If things go wrong, there won't be a way to stop it.... that's bad.

No, that's only true of black holes of a certain minimum size. Small
black holes evaporate before eating anything.

Says who?

Says the theory that predicts black holes in the first place.

Which has yet to be confirmed.

The difference is the black hole might grow very fast... so we won't have
any time to stop it.

With all your named disasters we still have some time to do something !

And if it's wrong, then the prediction that black holes will be
created in these collisions at all will also be wrong.

The most telling thing, though, is that these collisions, though man-
made and aimed carefully, are rather mundane by natural standards.
Identical proton-proton collisions of equal or greater energy happen
routinely in the atmosphere and at ground level via cosmic rays.

Thus, if the theory is right and mini-BHs are created in proton-proton
collisions, then they are created all the time.
If the theory is wrong and mini-BHs are not created in proton-proton
collisions, then they aren't created all the time and they won't be at
the LHC, either.

I don't think you caught the part about the "irreversibility point"
with global warming. As in "not a damn thing we can do".

Same goes for the others.

don't youth learn anything about science today
