This is a paper that is really leading edge, because up until then,
all the energy tranfers were chemical reactions and interactions.

Einstein SiMPLY iNCLUDED c^2, with HAMiLTONiAN-LaGRANGiAN ANALYSiS.!!
[For example, the (LaGrangian L) / c^2 CAN be *ABSORBED* light mass.]

If a body takes up an amount of energy E_o, then its inertial mass
increases by an amount E_o / c^2;..". [UnQUOTE].

I don't know of any other paper that is so cutting edge
in a Billion-fold increase in energy production per pound of matter,
and no other paper that gives the limits of fission energy production,
but there may be some.
