I would like a link to such a vido. It certainly is possible for a long
train to fit into a short tunnel if it is going fast enough.

First of all, length is in time. The main lode of room is width, then
breadth, then depth. Sure, length is proportional with width, but we
care about their width first. From first princips, relativistic
Doppler shift, one can find how the train shrinks in the front and
stretches in the back, so the pop-sci claim is but half of the
oddness. Both effects rub out, and the whole train does not fit in
the tunnel at any speed. Last, fast is not a speed; glue is fast.

I do not remember the original circumstances I responded to, However,
whoever, if anybody, called the prof an idiot is the real idiot.

Hey!

New stuff aint insane,

Look, I'm sorry things get complicated, but give it time.
The dust settles, and then its easier to see forward again. truly.

and its not like you're snowwhite.

cant make any promises about the oze, you try an 0ver 9 years term,
and see if you stay with walls that will make you frenken crazy. I
can think of at least 1 possible solution, hell I'm about ready for a
truckload of them. at times. it gets freken cold in the winter
nights. -you proudly advocate right turns, and so I might just do
right; who's still left?

anyway, what encourages a left turn? like I said, sorry it got
complicated, but it's crazier to make any promisses underpins, so it
just might hit you in the ass.

the science is a learned thing like everything else, a bit of
devotion, and time to study gets the grades.

Ok?

Not being able to find Ben's the original thread regarding rotating magnetic
fields I thought this might be seen here.
Not sure if it's as relevent as it appears to be.
