Default space without time

A final question on space-time before resting for a while. If Rovelli
is right: "In quantum gravity, I see no reason to expect a fundamental
notion of time to play any role….At the fundamental level, we should,
simply, forget time…." (from "Physics Meets Philosophy at the Planck
scale" C Callender N Hugget eds, Cambridge University Press), then
would it not be correct to stop giving time a special place in our
universe? We view the reality that surrounds us as being set in a
local "Now" that is essentially a point on a worldline in space-time
where (t)ime approaches 0. If we should simply forget time, would it
not be wise to explore the possibility that "Now" not only has depth
in the three dimensions that are space, but also in what was
previously considered the unique fourth dimension, time? It seems that
spin foam theory, and other similar efforts to reconcile QFT with
relativity, may be successful in doing just that by constructing
complex structures that exist in 4D space-time? PS

I was thinking about that last night. And I found this page:

It's a neat page. I suggest you look at it.
