Default details on the SIMPLE algorithm

Hi All,

I am trying to write a 2 dimensional finite volume incompressible flow
navier stokes solver using the SIMPLE(Semi Implicit MEthod for
Pressure Linked Equations) algorithm. I am using the ideas from the
book by Ferziger and Peric "Computational Methods for Fluid Dynamics"
and using the code given in the ftp site that accompanies the book. I
am hoping to put ribs in the code and to simulate 2d microfluidic
mixing of two miscible liquids using that code. I would like more
details on the SIMPLE algorithm. the book's explanations are too
cryptic for someone as dumb as me. Also are there other simpler SIMPLE
codes available online which i can learn easily and modify. and easier
explanations
