This radiation would still occur even if the synchrotron was a
perfeclty straight pipeline (In no way does this relate with the bend
of the synchrotron ring).
Reading a description of ONE WAY to generate synchrotron radiation is
not extrapolable to a statement that this is THE WAY to generate
synchrotron radiation.
This is the problem with reading snippets on the Web. You do not get
the big picture.
