You can't very well claim that the number 13 is somehow
special to religions because the Greeks had 12 gods in
their dodekatheon, now can you? The membership varied
but the membership was always limited to 12. Look at the
word itself - DODEKAtheon!

The Egyptian pantheon had approximetely a dozen demigods.

About 60, from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egyptian_pantheon.

The Roman Pantheon had approximately a dozen demigods and

Easily several dozen.

the Greek Pantheon had approximately a dozen demigods, and

Easily several dozen. Thousands when you count individuals described as
part of a group. The Titans Oceanus and Tethys had 3,000 sons and 3,000
daughers alone (the Oceanids). I'll let you count them all up.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Family_...the_Greek_gods

the REASON for this is that there are PRECISELY 13 SYMMETRY
AXES IN A CUBE.

We won't discuss which orifice you pulled that statement from.

SCIENTIFICALLY,

Wrong.

there are exactly 13 "demigods" in Religion.

So far you haven't come up with *any* religion with exactly (or even about)
13 demigods.

The ancient GREEKS were actually one god short. 7%

accuracy was good enough in their day.... modern science
requires greater accuracy, so 13 is the correct number of
demigods.

Do you really make this up as you go along? I hate to break the news to
you, but the ancient Greeks were good in math. They were able to count to
12 and to 13, and they counted exactly 12 (not 13) gods in their
Dodekatheon. You're right in that modern science requires greater
accuracy, so you have to find a religion with exactly 13 demigods (not 12,
and not 14) if you even wish to have a chance of a dry ice snowball's
chance in hell. You better also find some religion with 30 demigods (not
29, not 31). Not that the count of gods is any form of science, but we'll
let you pretend it is.
