No contradiction there. The astronauts were in low-earth orbit sending
live audio-stream and video-stream to base.

That would have added an additional 1.25-2.5 second delay that did
not exist!

Not to mention find a way of explaining why ground stations point in the
wrong direction and not at the moon.
